Carmen Velasquez is currently the Registrar and Attendance Tech at a local high school. She supports Sweet Livity part-time as a Virtual Administrative Assistant and has over 30 years of experience in this field. Throughout her career, she found meaning and fulfillment working with various nonprofit organizations who served to advance the rights and opportunities for people with disabilities, brought research and policy into action for child-serving systems, and built capacity for social change in communities of color and other marginalized communities. She has been able to advance in her administrative positions through demonstrated initiative, good judgment, the ability to work effectively under pressure, to be flexible, and to adapt to constantly changing programs.  Carmen is a single parent living in the San Francisco Bay Area, who enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
